Marking one of the largest acquisitions in the budget hotel segment, Click Hotels by Suba added 35 new properties to its portfolio, including 1589 Hotels, GenX, RNB, and RNB Select. Located across 22 prime destinations in the country, Click Hotels has now touched the milestone of 2000 rooms. It has also made the transition to an asset-light business model. The hospitality conglomerate has forayed into the leisure segment and will directly manage 50 prime properties across India, UAE, and Nepal now.
Managing Director of Suba, Mansur Mehta said, “Suba is on a mission to provide ultramodern hospitality services to hotels across the country. This vision is reflected in our most recent acquisition drive. The majority of our new acquisitions cater to the leisure market, and they perfectly complement our existing business hotel portfolio. We also worked to increase the variety of destinations by including popular vacation spots. We have added a new Loyalty Program, called 'Click Smiles' to further add our core value proposition."
Exclusive transaction advisor, Nandivardhan Jain, CEO of NOESIS Capital Advisors said, "1589 Hotels provided a lucrative opportunity to Suba Group of Hotels, due to their presence in the leisure segment. This transaction exemplifies great Indian entrepreneurialism in the form of a sustainable and conversion-friendly hotel management platform tailored to the needs of independent hotel owners and domestic travelers. With the acquisition of this portfolio, Click Hotels by Suba will be able to accelerate its expansion across South Asia.”
Click Hotels by Suba has expanded its footprint to key tourist destinations, including Ranthambore National Park, Jim Corbett National Park, and Dalhousie, among others.
