Abhishek Sharma has been named General Manager of Raffles Udaipur, the brand's first upcoming hotel in India. Sharma is a well-known leader with over two decades of outstanding experience in the luxury hospitality industry and a vast industry network. He has led teams throughout luxury hotels and resorts, including The Oberoi Group, and Soneva Fushi Resort in the Maldives. He will be leading the task of introducing the legendary Raffles brand to the country and taking charge of operations for Raffles Udaipur.

Raffles Udaipur has further appointed Rajan Malhotra as Director of Sales and Marketing and Prasad Metrani as the Director of Culinary.
In his role, Rajan, who holds a postgraduate diploma in business administration, will be in charge of bringing the world-renowned Raffles brand experience to the country as well as developing and implementing strategies to support the hotel's unrivalled positioning. He brings 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry with him. Long and successful tenures at Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts, Hyatt Services India Pvt. Ltd., The Zuri Group of Hotels & Resorts, Le Méridien Jaipur Resort & Spa, Taj Palace, New Delhi, and The Grand New Delhi are among his many accomplishments.
Prasad Metrani will be in charge of the Raffles Udaipur's experiential and evocative food and beverage concepts, with a 15-year career in culinary operations under his belt. He graduated from IHM in Hyderabad with a degree in hotel management and has worked for some of the world's most prestigious Indian and international hospitality brands. He is skilled in a wide range of international cuisines, including modern European, Indian, Arabic, and Pan Asian. He is known for his culinary prowess, mentorship, and leadership abilities and will assist Raffles Udaipur in creating an unforgettable dining experience.
